Dream Archive: Live Collection is a participatory performance in which a volunteer’s dream is collected live on stage in the presence of the audience. Agents of the Premonitions Agency guide the dreamer, investigate and map their dream into the theatre space, materializing it as if it were taking place here and now. The audience actively participates by sketching their perception of the dream and contributing their own dreams to the larger LUNARIS project. While the structure of the session is set, each session is improvised and unique, based on the live input of the dreamer.
The sessions are part of the performative cinematic multiverse titled LUNARIS, a specufictional world - embedded in the ‘real’ world – developed by Andrea Božić and Julia Willms | TILT in collaboration with the Premonitions Agency in the coming years. LUNARIS hosts a constellation of interlinked works: performances, audio-visual installations and related smaller works across performance and visual art.
Dream Archive: Live Collection aspires to both problematise the trends of collecting user data, while at the same time also offering a palyful way of embodying and engaging with a dream reality, making a private experience visible and communal.
